Edicts from the Grand Inquisitor
There have been several reports to the Inquisition of the blatant lack of discipline within the lower ranks of the Order. The Grand Inquisitor enacted a new policy stating members of the Honour Guard are granted the ability to issue punishments for any infractions they witness among our Initiates and Acolytes. The harshness of that punishment is left to their discretion. The Grand Inquisitor made it clear that “It falls to the Templar Master to pass their knowledge and discipline on to their Squires.” He also said that if they aren’t doing this, then they “are failing as a Master”.

Reports have surfaced of Templars revealing the nature of the Test of the Templar to their students and Templar Masters "teaching the test", so to speak, rather than ensuring their Squires know all that they should to fulfill their duties as future Templars. The Grand Inquisitor made it clear that he intends “to trim the fat of this Order” of those who are found passing information of any Test to others.

Edicts from the Grandmaster
“If one goes on sinning deliberately, after receiving the knowledge of truth, there no longer remains a penance for sins; but a fearful expectation of judgement. Anyone who has knowingly set aside the law of the Light dies without mercy. How much worse punishment will be deserved by one who has spurned the Light by which he was sanctified? For those, the Light dictates vengeance and blood shall be repaid!”

This prayer was chosen for a reason. I have heard troubling rumors… rumors that Laws of the Order are coming under review and even will possibly be repealed. Know that the Laws of the Order were laid down long before any of you even knew of the Light. Rumors come from somewhere and something like this must originate from someone who wishes that law would be removed.

Let me stamp out those ideas permanently:
The Laws of the Order are Laws; they are not going to be changed. Anyone that has knowledge of the Laws of the Light and those of the Order – should they turn away from the Laws of the Order, then they turn away from the Light. And such punishment that will await them if they do!
